A seven-year on-and-off relationship apparently came to a halt as the male and female suffered some physical damage after which the female trashed many of the male’s possessions, including six fish found floating bellies up in a tank of bleach in the 1600 block of Long Bow Lane.
She told police, “I’m sorry for the fish,” and appeared remorseful for other damage she did inside the home.
She also said she still “loved” the boyfriend, but expected the incident to be the end of their relationship.
Their initial argument had taken place at night, and medics had to be called to help the male receive hospital repairs. While he was gone, the female told police her car keys were still in the home, but they couldn’t find them and suggested she take a cab. She lived too far away to do that, used the pad code to open the garage door, then kicked in the door to the house.
She found her keys and cell phone, leaving her marks along the way.
The next day she called police and said she had some bruising she wanted to report, felt remorseful for her actions and would report to the station to give more of her side.
She didn’t show as scheduled, and police had no witnesses to what happened. The boyfriend was pursuing charges.
