Kodi R. Weatherspoon, 34, is being held on a $20,000 bond at the Greene County Jail, according to court records.
According to Fairborn police, Weatherspoon said he and his wife were fighting inside their Duncan Drive apartment when he accidentally grabbed his newborn son’s head.
Part of the baby’s scalp was ripped off as a result, and the child required surgery at Children’s Medical Center of Dayton, according to police.
