Greene County voters green-lighted all three countywide levies on the ballot Tuesday by wide margins, keeping funding flowing for Greene Memorial Hospital and agencies that assist children and developmentally disabled.
The 0.5-mill renewal levy for the hospital is one of two levies that fund operation of the hospital, which was previously owned by the county and became affiliated with Kettering Health Network in 2008. The levy approved Tuesday is expected to generate $1.6 million, according to data from the county auditor’s office.
The 1.5-mill Children Services levy which is expected to annually generate $5.4 million, according to the county auditor. It was renewed for another five years
The 3.5-mill levy renewal on the ballot for Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities is expected to generate $11.6 million annually, according to the county auditor.
