Attendees of the Sixth Annual A Taste at the Crossroads event will have the chance to sample foods from more than 20 restaurants and sample beer and wine from various beer companies.
The Taste will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on June 25 at the Vandalia Sport Complex, 1111 Stonequarry Road, according to Will Roberts, the chamber’s executive director. Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased at the Vandalia-Butler Chamber of Commerce, 544 W. National Road. Tickets are $15 at the door.
The event, which is a chamber fundraiser, is co-hosted by the chamber and the City of Vandalia, Roberts said.
The event also will feature musical performances by local band Justin Cost and The Prescriptions and ice sculptures by Ramon Rodriguez of Dayton.
There will be a separate fee for the beer and wine tastings, which will feature beverages from the Ohio Brewing Company in Akron, Yellow Springs Brewing Company, Dayton Beer Company and Jackie O’s Brewing Company in Athens. The beer tasting also will feature domestic beers such as Yuengling and Cider beer by Samuel Adams.
The hosts expect up to 1,000 people from all the Miami Valley Region to be in attendance.
