More than 300 local issues, including school levies and bonds, liquor questions, charter amendments, police funding and more, will appear on the May 2 ballot. Ohioans who want to cast a ballot must be registered to vote by April 3.
Voters can register or update their records online by going to MyOhioVote.com/VoterRegistration.

In June 2016, Ohio Gov. John Kasich signed a bill into law that allowed for online voter registration but lawmakers blocked its immediate effect, delaying it until after the 2016 presidential election. More than 30 states allow voters to register online.
Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted said online registration will make it easier and more cost effective.
