Paint Creek Lake: Crappie fishing is excellent all over the lake. Fish in 2-4 feet of water around wood and brush. Some of the larger fish are a bit deeper. Use minnows or blue/chartreuse jigs. Bass are coming in to the banks. Use shad-colored crankbaits or green/pumpkin worms in 3-6 feet of water. Fish in the spillway to catch saugeyes on chartreuse/red fleck twisters.
