Their only other win this season is also against a Division III team, 107-48 over Cairn in their opener. Their losses are to Georgia Tech, Clemson, George Washington, Delaware and Buffalo. They lost to Delaware and Buffalo by 10 points each. … The Hornets were picked to finish seventh out of 13 teams in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference preseason poll. … Head coach Greg Jackson is in his 14th season. Delaware State made its only NCAA tournament appearance under him in 2005, losing 57-46 to top-seeded Duke.
