Benedict is a historically black college from Columbia, S.C. … Benedict coach James Woody is a former All-American quarterback at Central State. He’s in his third season. He was inducted into the Central State Hall of Fame in 1991. He was also an assistant coach at Central State from 1986-95. He was the offensive coordinator in 1995 when Central State won the NAIA national championship.
