Knucklehead of the Week
Former Northern Kentucky University athletic director Scott Eaton got caught with his hands in the school’s cookie jar — and other places. Eaton pleaded guilty to theft charges last week and was given a 10-year prison sentence. He pilfered $311,000 in university funds, much of it via Kroger gift cards. His attorney called the sentence harsh, apparently not seeing a couple of the zeroes on the amount stolen. Eaton lost his job at NKU last year after admitting to “inappropriate relationships” with four employees and a student.
