WATCH: High school wrestler with Down Syndrome wins first match

High School wrestling season is just getting started, but we may already have the best moment of the year in Ohio – if not beyond.

In the video, National Trail freshman Brooks Henning pins senior Tyler Stevens of Wayne on Nov. 25 at the Northmont Wrestling Premier.

The outcome caused the crowd to go crazy because Henning, who had never wrestled before, has Down Syndrome.

Despite losing the match, Stevens had a winning attitude.

“I remembered how it felt to lose my first match, and I didn’t want him to feel like that.”

Bravo, Tyler.
