2 taken to hospital from W. Carrollton crash


UPDATE @ 8:50 a.m.

Two people were taken to the hospital from a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle that briefly shut down East Dixie Drive/East Central Avenue in West Carrollton.

The crash just west of I-75 did not result in serious injuries, according to police at the scene.

Police said the driver of the white Chevy Impala was cited for going left-of-center and causing the crash.

East Dixie/East Central was shut down for about 30 minutes while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

East Dixie Drive is shut down just west of I-75 in West Carrollton after a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

Crews responded to the scene around 8:15 a.m.
