The NBA’s Detroit Pistons want to help the Franklin community celebrate Luke Kennard with a special event

Not to be outdone by the Indiana Pacers, the Detroit Pistons are hosting a Franklin City Schools Wildcat Night next month.

The Pistons are hosting the event so local fans can see Franklin’s own Luke Kennard in action against the Chicago Bulls on March 9 at Little Caesars Arena.

Prices in advance are $48, $65, $80 and $95 and include an exclusive meet and greet with Kennard. Each ticket purchased is automatically entered to win a Kennard autographed Pistons item. The ticket offer is for advance purchase only, and tickets are not available at the arena’s box office. The deadline to order is March 5.

The Indiana Pacers held a Franklin High School night on Nov. 17 when they hosted the Pistons. Franklin Superintendent Michael Sander said about 400 people from Franklin went to that game where they were allowed to see Kennard and watch the shoot-around prior to the game.

The Franklin City Schools are not receiving any money from this event in Detroit.
