On Sept. 14, 2008 a wind storm caused by remnants of Hurricane Ike took the Miami Valley by surprise, left thousands without power for days and caused damage in 84 of Ohio's 88 counties. In Clinton County, the Harmon family on Horseshoe Road lost this big tree just days after they had several other cut down near their house in the background. Staff photo by Ty Greenlees.
