Things included there: Included in the area is an 80-acre lake, marshland, woods, hunting areas, shooting range, cropland and a segment of the Little Miami Scenic Trail.
Bird watching: Beyond hunting and fishing, bird watching is very popular due to the diverse habitat. More than 230 bird species have been sighted in the area which includes almost all of Ohio's common birds and migratory species.
How to get around: A 2.5-mile trail circles the lake and wetlands and includes wooded segments.

Fish varieties: Largemouth bass, bluegill, black bullhead, and carp are the main fish species in the lake.
Winged friends: The lake is a popular place for Wood ducks to nest. Canada geese, Mallards, Black ducks, Blue-winged teal and coots are most numerous during migration.
