West Chester offers program on coyotes, other wildlife

With spring nearly sprung, West Chester Twp. is hosting a program on cohabitating with wildlife like coyotes and other animals that populate the area.

Brett Beatty, a wildlife expert with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will discuss how humans and animals can co-exist in the environment at 7 p.m. March 15 at MidPointe Library West Chester, 9363 Centre Pointe Drive.

Deer, coyote, geese and other wild animals are found in the neighborhoods of West Chester, and as spring takes shape many of these animals become more visible.

Beatty will explain the habits of these animals — especially coyotes — and steps property owners can take to co-exist with them or manage their presence.

The event is free and Beatty will take questions from those in attendance.
