Anthony Grant’s Dayton Flyers staff announced

The University of Dayton announced new Dayton Flyers coach Anthony Grant’s staff on Wednesday. Some of the names had already leaked out in the news.

Here’s a quick glance at the assistant coaches:

• Associate head coach Anthony Solomon: A head coach at St. Bonaventure for four seasons, Solomon, 52, spent last season as an assistant coach at Georgetown and the eight seasons prior to that on Mike Brey's staff at Notre Dame. He spent the 2007-08 season at Dayton on Brian Gregory's staff. He's a 1987 graduate of the University of Virginia.

• Assistant to the head coach Darren Hertz:Hertz spent the last two seasons as a special assistant to head coach John Groce at Illinois. Groce was fired in March and is now the head coach at Akron. Hertz spent 19 seasons (1996-2015) at the University of Florida on head coach Billy Donovan's staff. Grant was also on the same staff from 1996-2006.

• Assistant coach Ricardo Greer: Greer served the last two years as the director of player development at Central Florida. He played at the University of Pittsburgh from 1997-2001.

• Assistant coach James Kane: Kane spent the last two seasons at Murray State. He previously worked with Grant at Virginia Commonwealth and Alabama.
