Bengals kicker Bullock testing Lewis’ patience


Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis admitted that the struggles former kicker Mike Nugent went through last year are affecting the way he views the performance of Randy Bullock this year.

“It does affect our patience level,” Lewis said.

Bullock missed his second extra point in as many games Sunday in Denver.

Two weeks ago at Tennessee, in his return after missing the Jacksonville game with a back injury, Bullock missed his first PAT and banked the second one through off the upright.

Asked if he is committed to Bullock for the rest of the season, Lewis said, “We’re committed to Randy this week.”
