Cincinnati Bengals assistant headed to East-West Shrine Game

The East-West Shrine Game will include Bengals assistant linebackers coach David Lippincott.

He is set to coach linebackers for the East team, whose head coach is former Bengals defensive lineman Brentson Buckner.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis called it a great opportunity for Lippincott.

“These are players who will be entering the 2017 draft, and his experience through the week will give us some good insights,” Lewis said in a release.

Linebackers on the East roster include James Onwualu of Notre Dame and Ellis Brooks of Arkansas.

The 92nd edition of the game is scheduled for Jan. 21 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.
