Every year, Time.com fills out a bracket based on the performances of the teams in the classroom.

On Wednesday, Time released the 2017 bracket, and the Dayton Flyers did well. Based on the graduation rates of its men's basketball players, UD would beat Wichita State, Northern Kentucky and Kansas State before losing to Winthrop in the Elite Eight.

Winthrop went to the Final Four in the bracket along with Duke, Bucknell and Vermont. Bucknell was the champion.

Dayton has four senior starters on the roster this season and another walk-on senior, Jeremiah Bonsu. All are scheduled to graduate this spring.
