The Dayton Flyers will play Virginia Commonwealth twice in the 2017-18 season, the A-10 announced Wednesday. The teams dueled for the Atlantic 10 regular-season championship last season. That was the first time they met twice on the 18-game conference schedule.
The A-10 announced schedule pairings for all 14 teams Wednesday. UD will also play Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Duquesne and Saint Louis twice. The Flyers will not play at St. Bonaventure or Fordham for the first time since the 2012-13 season.
