Duvall’s flare felt more like a bomb as Reds punch out D-backs in 11 innings

Adam Duvall got wet Wednesday night, but the Reds left fielder didn't mind teammate Scooter Gennett throwing a bucket of sports drink upon him after he singled in Billy Hamilton with the winning run in the 11th inning.

Doesn’t he look like he’s having fun here? Doesn’t everyone?

After dropping their first five games after the All-Star break, most of them by lopsided margins, Cincinnati turned 15 base hits -- Zack Cozart had four and Hamilton three -- and five walks into a 4-3 victory over the Diamondbacks. They sure looked like that felt good.

Rasiel Iglesias did not register a save, nor the win, but not for sake of failure. Shoot, the bullpen pitched five scoreless innings, as Michael Lorenzen (5-2) picked up the win.

Iglesias entered the game with one out in the eighth inning, when the game was tied, and he held it through the ninth.

Here's what Duvall had to say about Cincy's sweet night.
