That’s a continuing trend for the defending Big Ten champ Buckeyes. OSU also has had dual meets at Cincinnati Moeller, Massillon Perry, Cleveland Walsh Jesuit, Wadsworth and Good Counsel (Md.) high schools since 2014. Ohio State defeated Indiana 26-9 in a dual meet at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on Dec. 10. All those high school wrestling programs are established state powers and often had alums participating at OSU at the time.
It’ll be a homecoming for Graham alums Bo and Micah Jordan, brothers and the sons of Falcons coach Jeff Jordan. A redshirt-senior, Bo is a three-time All-American, placing runner-up at 174 pounds in last season’s NCAA Championships and third at 165 in both the 2015-16 tournaments. He’s 14-2 at 174 this season and owns a 75-9 career record with the Buckeyes.
Micah, a redshirt-junior, was fourth at 149 pounds in the NCAA Championships last season. He’s also 14-2 this season at 157. His career OSU record is 73-11.

Also members of the Buckeyes are Anthony DeCarlo, a redshirt-junior from Catholic Central (0-2 at 165) and Kaleb Romero, a freshman from Mechanicsburg (3-1 at 174).
Ohio State wrestling has soared since Tom Ryan left Hofstra to coach the Buckeyes in 2006. Ohio State won a national championship in 2015, was second last season and third in 2016. OSU hasn’t finished worse than sixth nationally since 2012.

OSU defeated Chattanooga (Tenn.) 39-3 in a dual on Dec. 17 at The Cooler in Alpharetta, Georgia. Following an extended break OSU returns to action on Jan. 5 for a dual at Maryland.
Graham owns a streak of 17 straight Division II state team championships and most recently won the GMVWA Holiday Tournament at Butler on Thursday. Among its five returning state champs is Rocky Jordan. A younger brother to Bo and Micah, Rocky also has signed with OSU.
