Lakota West’s Bentley signs with Pitt

Lakota West’s Tyler Bentley signed a letter-of-intent Wednesday — the first day of a new early-signing period for football — to continue his career at the University of Pittsburgh.

A 6-foot-3, 298-pound defensive tackle who earned first-team, All-Greater Miami Conference honors this season, Bentley committed to the Panthers on Dec. 11. He originally committed to Kentucky over the summer, but de-committed Dec. 4.

Recruiting service 247sports.com lists Bentley as at three-star recruit and ranks him 52nd in Ohio in the Class of 2018.
