Apparently lots of people think a sophomore Big Ten running back is a good bet to win the 2018 Heisman Trophy.
One day after releasing initial odds for the stiff-arm trophy, Bovada issued revised numbers.
Because of a surge of public support for Ohio State’s J.K. Dobbins and Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor.
They are both getting 6/1 odds, the best in the country, after opening at 12/1 and 8/1, respectively.
Bryce Love of Stanford, the favorite on day one, remains at 7/1.
Love is joined at that number by Tua Tagovailoa, the Alabama quarterback who hasn’t started a game yet but has engineered a national championship game victory.
Tagovailoa’s odds also improved after he was at 10/1 a day earlier.
The two defensive linemen from day one remain on the board, too, with Ohio State’s Nick Bosa getting 75/1 odds and Houston’s Ed Oliver checking in at 66/1.
