H.S. Results for 12/1: Tri-Village coach wins No. 200

Allie Downing scored 22 points Thursday night as Tri-Village rolled to a 66-35 victory at Franklin-Monroe, giving girls basketball coach Brad Gray his 200th career victory.

“I didn’t talk to them much about it because I didn’t want them to be worried about it,” Gray said of his players. “They played well and, when the game was over, they had lined up a bunch of cupcakes for me in the shape of the number 200. That was really nice.”

Gray is 200-51 in 10-plus years as head coach.

Tri-Village improved to 3-0 with the win, while Franklin-Monroe fell to 1-3.
