See where Dayton, OSU, Xavier are in newest NCAA championship odds

A bet on Dayton to win the national championship will pay off more now than it would have at the beginning of the season.

Odds released Friday by Bovada gave the Flyers a 300/1 shot to be the last team dancing in March, down from 200/1 on Nov. 10.

Joining Dayton at 300/1 are BYU, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas State, Marquette, Maryland, Oklahoma, Pitt, San Diego State, SMU and fellow member VCU.

Ohio State is among nine teams at 200/1 (down from 150/1) while Cincinnati remained at 150/1 and Xavier’s odds rose from 40/1 to 33/1.

The best odds in the A-10 belong to Rhode Island (125/1).

Duke began the season as the overall favorite with odds of 15/4. The Blue Devils are still on top, but they are sharing that spot with UCLA.

The Bruins soared up to join Duke at 5/1 after starting the season at 50/1.

Kentucky has 6/1 odds followed by Kansas, North Carolina and defending national champion Villanova at 11/1.
