Final round of storms arrive; heavy rain likely

The second and final round of storms is moving through the Miami Valley. Storms won’t be severe, but heavy rain is likely, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Showers and storms will taper off by midnight with some lingering clouds. It will be breezy and turning cooler overnight with temperatures falling into the lower 50s by morning.

Friday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with seasonably cool conditions with temperatures in the lower 60s. It will be breezy at times. Clouds will increase late with a chance for a few showers by late evening.

Saturday: Showers will be likely with breezy, cool conditions. Skies will remain cloudy outside of any showers with temperatures holding in the lower to middle 50s.

Sunday: Skies will become mostly sunny with seasonably temperatures back in the middle 60s.

Monday: Lots of sunshine will start the new workweek with highs back to near 70 degrees.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny skies and warmer weather is expected with highs in the mid-70s.
