Hurricane Dora formed off the west coast of Mexico early Monday morning.
As a Category 1 storm, Dora has sustained winds of 80 MPH, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs. She is expected to strengthen over the next 12 to 24 hours before moving into unfavorable waters and begins to weaken.
