Dora is moving to the west-northwest into the Pacific Ocean with no significant threat of impact on the west coast of the United States.

Hurricane Dora formed off the west coast of Mexico early Monday morning.
As a Category 1 storm, Dora has sustained winds of 80 MPH, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs. She is expected to strengthen over the next 12 to 24 hours before moving into unfavorable waters and begins to weaken.
