This Evening: Scattered showers will develop under mostly cloudy skies, said Eric Elwell, Storm Center 7 chief meteorologist. A rumble of thunder will be possible by late evening. Temperatures will hold in the 70s with breezy conditions.

Tonight: Scattered showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder will be possible through much of the night. Otherwise, skies will remain mostly cloudy with some breaks are possible toward morning. Temperatures will drop back to around 60 degrees by daybreak.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with showers redeveloping late in the day. A few thunderstorms are possible, especially south of I-70. Highs will top out in the middle 70s, with breezy conditions.

Thursday: Showers likely with a rumble of thunder possible. Rain may be briefly heavy, especially early in the day. It will remain breezy and turn cooler with highs in the middle 70s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, breezy and cool with highs in the upper 50s.

Saturday: Expect partly cloudy skies with a chilly start and a cool afternoon. Highs will stay in the middle 50s.

Sunday: Mostly sunny skies and seasonably mild temperatures will return with highs in the middle 60s.
