WPAFB Wednesday Weather: Developing showers, colder air to arrive this weekend

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—Clouds will thicken up through the morning with showers developing midday, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

The rain will linger into the evening hours. Temperatures will climb to around 50 degrees during the afternoon and fall back into the middle 30s tonight as the rain tapers off. Skies will clear on Thursday before clouds return Friday.

More rain arrives Friday night into Saturday. Strong winds will also be possible Friday night into Saturday with gusts up to 40mph possible. Much colder air arrives late Saturday into Sunday.
