Candidate forums help you decide


Candidate forums sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Greater Dayton Area will give voters in area communities an opportunity to hear candidates for local public offices discuss their positions on various issues.

The forums are in Greene and Montgomery counties. They begin Oct. 6, at 7 p.m. in Fairborn at the Fairborn Senior Center, 325 N. 3rd St.

Several are planned for Oct. 7. They are:

  • Centerville-Washington Twp. Library,  111 W. Spring Valley Rd. at 6:30 p.m.
  • Huber Heights Weisenborn Junior High School, 6061 Troy Pike at 6 p.m.
  • Jefferson Twp. administration building, One Business Park Drive at 7 p.m.

There will also be a candidate forum at the Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center on Oct. 15 at 130 E. Church Street.

The general election is Nov. 3 but people can vote early at their local county board of election.
