Former House Speaker John Boehner, R-West Chester Twp., called Indiana Gov. Mike Pence an "exceptional leader and an even better man" after presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump tapped Pence today as his vice presidential running mate.
Boehner, who served with Pence when the latter was a Republican congressman from Indiana, said Pence "he played a key role in helping us earn the majority in the House" in the 2010 elections.  "And with his heart, honesty, and integrity, he won the trust and respect of everyone with whom he served," Boehner said.
