60 Minutes features Ohio heroin epidemic

60 Minutes will air "Heroin in the Heartland," a story that examines the heroin epidemic in Ohio.

“This is the worst drug epidemic I've seen in my lifetime," Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine told 60 Minutes correspondent Bill Whittaker. "Anybody watching today, this show-- it could be your family. There's no typical person. It just has permeated every segment of society in Ohio.”

The segment features interviews with DeWine, recovering addicts and others.

It'll air at 7 p.m. Sunday on WHIO-TV (Channel 7) in Dayton.

DeWine is also scheduled to appear on CBS This Morning at 7:30 a.m. Monday for a follow-up interview on the 60 Minutes story. That will also air on WHIO-TV.
