The State School Board took steps toward making it to where Ohio students don't have to pass tests to graduate.

Our education reporter Jeremy Kelley reports that: "The resolution used recommendations from the state’s graduation workgroup, allowing current high school juniors who don’t meet existing rules to earn a diploma via a mix of senior-year items like 93 percent attendance, a 2.5 GPA, 120 hours of work/community service or a “capstone project.”
