Hamilton City Council is expected to vote on a proposed development agreement with the company on Oct. 1o. A public hearing on the matter is scheduled for council’s Sept. 26 meeting.

To be eligible for consideration, companies had to have revenues of at least $500,000 in each fiscal year from 2015 through 2017, plus revenue growth from 2015 to 2017.
“When we opened, there was no road map for us to follow,” said Spooky Nook’s CEO and owner, Sam Beiler, “We were the first to open something of this scale that provided so many different services. Our company had to be innovative and resilient to forge a path for ourselves and try something that hadn’t been done before.”
Beiler describes the Pennsylvania facility as 14 acres of sports complex under one roof. It also has 50 acres of outdoor facilities.
Hamilton city officials have said the proposed Spooky Nook at Champion Mill will transform Hamilton’s economy, luring tens of thousands of athletes and their families from a 3½-hour drive, and spurring business development around the facility, which will include a convention center, hotel and retail shops.
