Dayton’s Tech Town lands funding to add space

Tech Town had landed $250,000 to help design and build more space.

The technology-centered office park just outside of downtown Dayton received the funding from the Ohio Department of Higher Education, according to a statement from Minority Leader Fred Strahorn, D-Dayton, announcing the funds.

Tech Town is now home to tenants like UDRI Sensor Systems Division, Deloitte, Ascend Innovations, and Dayton Children’s Hospital IT services division.

The new project will include technology-oriented space designed collaborations between the Air Force Research Laboratory and non-defense organizations such as the Ohio State University.

“Renovation of this space will bring additional value to the technology and industry leaders who call Tech Town home,” Strahorn stated.
