Kettering Health hospitals finalists for top patient care award

Kettering Health Network hospitals has been recognized for its patient care.

Grandview, Southview, and Sycamore hospital are finalists for the QUEST Award for High-value Healthcare.

Kettering Medical center and Fort Hamilton Hospital were named citation of merit recipients.

“Our hospitals’ achievements in QUEST reinforces our commitment to reliably deliver the best care experience to the communities we serve,” said Teri Sholder, chief quality officer for Kettering Health Network. “We are proud to receive the QUEST Award as we continue down our path of improving patient outcomes and community health.”

No more than 14 U.S. hospitals received finalist recognition. Approximately 350 health systems volunteer to be measured by QUEST.

Participants are measured in six key areas including cost and efficiency, inpatient and outpatient evidence-based care, mortality, safety, patient experience and appropriate hospital use.
