Toys ‘R’ Us, Inc. voluntarily filed for relief under Chapter 11 protection in September 2017. The company was $5 billion in debt, and by early 2018, the chain was saying it would shutter 180 stores.

Soon, however, the bankruptcy meant the closing of all of the chain’s 735 stores, affecting as many as 33,000 employees.

Waterstone Miamisburg LLC registered as a for-profit company last month. It gives a Needham, Mass. mailing address, according to its Ohio Secretary of State’s office registration.

The building at 2859 Miamisburg-Centerville Road was built in 1987, records indicate.
