Warren County retirement community launches new identity

A Warren County-based retirement community organization has a new name.

The organization, formerly known as Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices, announced today the launch of a new ministry-wide brand identity, logo and name, Otterbein SeniorLife.

The new logo and website represent all Otterbein ministries and locations, including Otterbein Franklin, affiliated with Otterbein in October 2017, according to a press release issued on Wednesday.

“Otterbein had two goals in mind in creating the new name and logo. The first was to refresh and modernize the ministry name and logo to a more contemporary design in line with growth and innovations happening in the organization. The second was to eliminate the color coding, previously used to represent the differences in the Otterbein ministries, and establish a single name, and image to clearly represent one-unified Otterbein and the integration of all Otterbein ministries,” according to the release.

Otterbein said it chose to represent the faith-based organization with a prominent cross as the intersecting point of the traditional infinity symbol in its logo.

“The infinity symbol illustrates the limitless choices available in our lives, and the unlimited potential for continual growth and quality of care and service to the seniors and their families that Otterbein is pleased to provide,” according to the press release.

“We have grown significantly over the last several years and wanted a fresh new look to bond existing ministries and represent Otterbein in new markets,” said Jill Wilson, president and CEO of Otterbein SeniorLife. “I love the symbolism of the new logo - depicting the variety of opportunities one may encounter every day, each grounded in faith and ministry.”

Otterbein is a 106-year-old, faith-based, not-for-profit ministry. This year, construction is expected to begin on Union Village, a planned community on the 1,400-acres on Ohio 741 where the retirement campus is located.

Also Warren County has begun construction of the Warren County Sports Park at Union Village.
