Case dismissed against Clayton man accused in Dayton sexual assault

The case was dismissed against a Clayton man who had been accused of beating and sexually assaulting a woman in January in Dayton.

Ontario Robert Ransom, 31, is no longer facing charges after the case was dismissed Monday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

He was indicted in January for two counts of rape and two counts of kidnapping.

He has been released from the Montgomery County Jail.
