- GE Capital Retail Finance has about 1,550 employees in Kettering, according to the company, and added about 550 in 2005-06 based on city estimates.
- Wright-Patterson added 1,200 jobs after 2005 BRAC round relocated the 711th Human Performance Wing, U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine and brought additional research work to the base.
