40 holiday bazaars to get on your list this November

You know the holidays are right around the corner when you start seeing signs and advertisements for community, school and church craft bazaars. Here’s a roundup of some happening in November.

NORMANDY CHURCH BAZAAR: Nov. 2, 10:30 a.m. to 4 pm at Normandy Church, 450 W. Alex Bell Road, Centerville. Over 12 booths featuring handmade items & baked goods. Lunch served 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR: Nov. 3-4, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at West Carrollton YMCA, 900 S. Alex Road, West Carrollton. Sale of handmade items by Craft Club. Proceeds go to YMCA's Annual Campaign. 937-866-9622.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR AND LUNCHEON WITH GRANDMA'S CUPBOARD: Nov. 4, 9 a.m. to 5 pm and Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Anne's Sodality of Visitation Catholic Church,407 East Main Street, Eaton. Many crafts, home baked items, excellent display of homemade candies, including buckeyes, caramels, jellies, canned items, collectibles. Lunch served 11a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR AT DOROTHY LANE AMERICAN BAPTIST CHURCH: Nov. 4-5, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dorothy Lane American Baptist Church, 960 W. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Christmas Bazaar including crafts, bake sale and lunch. Come and select from a wide variety of crafts made by our own church crafters. Items often made from recycled materials and range from practical items for everyday use to decorative Christmas creations. Lunch available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days.

MIAMISBURG'S HOME PARTY & HOLIDAY BAZAAR: Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Miamisburg Senior Adult Center, 305 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR: Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at David's United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Road, Kettering.

EASTVIEW CHURCH OF GOD FALL SALE: Nov. 5, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eastview Church of God, 5289 Burkhardt Road, Dayton. There will be a large variety of household goods, clothing and miscellaneous items from which to choose. Contact phone number 937-254-3261.

ANGEL WERKS BAZAAR: Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Road, Kettering. Shop for homemade candy, baked goods, and one-of-a-kind items and enjoy a light lunch. All proceeds from the bazaar support local and international service.

FALL CRAFT FAIR: Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E. Stroop Road, Kettering. Over 40 vendors and raffle baskets.

ST. BRIGID HOLIDAY BAZAAR: Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Brigid Parish Activity Center, 312 Fairground Road, Xenia. Free admission. THE LITTLE EXCHANGE HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE: Nov. 6, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Little Exchange, 45 Park Ave., Oakwood. All proceeds benefit Dayton Children's Hospital.

SEW FAITHFUL BAZAAR AND QUILT FUNDRAISER: Nov. 11-12, 10 a.m. to 2 pm at Central Presbyterian Church, 4699 Lamme Road, Dayton. Handmade quilts and afghans, teddy bears and more. Proceeds donated to charity organizations. 937-298-2864.

Our Country Store will feature all-homemade food items such as buckeyes and peanut brittle and Grandma's Attic will have gently used household items, paperback and hard cover books and holiday decorations at very reasonable prices. SOUTHERN HILLS UMC CRAFT SHOW: Nov. 19, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Southern Hills United Methodist Church, 2287 S. Dixie Drive, Kettering.

ART, ANTIQUES, & CRAFTS SHOW BAZAAR: Nov. 19, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave., Kettering. There will be an auction of a few select gifts, a vintage room full of wonderful things that have aged beautifully, homemade baked goods and kitchen items room, and a raffle of themed baskets. There will be outside vendors with quality items such as honey, maple syrup, fine jewelry, pottery, glassware, paintings, handmade teddy bears and more. KETTERING FAIRMONT ATHLETIC BOOSTERS CRAFT SHOW: Nov. 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kettering Fairmont High School, 3301 Shroyer Road, Kettering. Featuring 200 booths, shoppers will have an extensive selection of unique handcrafted and manufactured products to choose from. Items offered include the best in holiday decorations, handmade crafts, stylish jewelry, clothes, specialty food items, wood and metal crafts and much more. The craft show is held throughout the Trent Arena and Fairmont High School Athletic Complex. Proceeds from the craft show help support Fairmont Firebird Athletics.
