Sara Levin and Gus Stathes have a love born in a brew.

It makes sense that he popped “the question” to her surrounded by Dayton brews.

Gus,  the co-owner of The Barrel House at 417 E. Third St. with Sara, popped the question to her Thursday, May 17 at Warped Wing Brewing Company’s Mr. Mean Funkfest.

Warped Wing is a special place for the couple dubbed Dayton’s beer royalty by Dayton Brew Tours.

The recent Daytonians of the Week met at the brewery's Mr. Mean event three years ago.

Here is what Sara told Dayton.com's Mark Fisher about  Warped Wing earlier this month when asked about her favorite spot in the Dayton area.

“My bed. Just kidding (but also not), but I guess outside of my bed I would say Warped Wing. Everyone who works there is like family, and has been since before I even moved to Dayton. In addition to that, it’s where Gus and I met, so it’s kind of my happy place.”

Prost, cheers and sláinte, guys.
