Incidents in recent years include:
-2016: Several students were arrested on charges that included disorderly conduct, public intoxication and another for drug possession. At least five people were charged with minor misdemeanors, more than a dozen students were referred for disciplinary action and nearly as many others people were removed by ambulance, according to the university.

-2015: Arrests were made as thousands of people gathered along Keifaber Street. Police reported several students and non-students becoming unruly, throwing full beer cans, bottles and toilet paper rolls at officers on patrol.
-2014: Arrests followed assaults on police officers as 13 jurisdictions descended worked to restore order at a gathering of thousands where brawls, fires and fireworks were reported as the UD Flyers men's basketball team earned a sport in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

More than $57,000 in overtime was needed to fund police officers over a three-day period. Law enforcement from UD, Dayton, Five Rivers MetroParks, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio State Patrol, Brookville, Huber Heights, Kettering, Miami Twp., Riverside, Oakwood, Sinclair Community College and Vandalia were involved.
-2013: More than 1,000 people were part of a scene that police responded to with riot gear. Those in the crowd threw glass beer bottles and screamed atop parked cars as shattered windshields and broken other glass covered streets, sidewalks and front lawns.
