Another BBQ restaurant shuts down in Miamisburg, 2nd in two months

Miamisburg has lost its second barbecue restaurant in two months.

In early September, it was Star City BBQ in south Miamisburg that shut down after three years in business, its owner citing the inability to hire and retain dependable employees as a factor in decision.

OinkADoodleMoo barbecue will still be available via delivery in Miamisburg, and catering also will still be available in and around the city, Meyer said. And gift cards and loyalty reward benefits are valid at all other OinkADoodleMoo locations, the restaurant’s owner said.

Meyer said he will reconsider opening at another location in or near Miamisburg in the future.

OinkADoodleMoo was founded in 2009 with the opening of an Englewood restaurant that later relocated to the Randolph Plaza. Meyer has a wealth of restaurant experience: He was one of the first franchisees of Penn Station East Coast Subs, and served as managing partner of Longhorn Steakhouse and as area developer and operating partner for Cici’s Pizza.
