Star Mark Ruffalo shooting scenes for upcoming film in Hamilton today

Crews are working in Hamilton today to film scenes for an upcoming Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway movie after a one-day delay due to weather.

Ruffalo is part of the scenes shooting in Hamilton today.

The crews are working on the movie “Dry Run,” which is filming this week in both Hamilton and Cincinnati.

The filming in Hamilton’s Highland Park neighborhood is happening along Park Avenue, mainly between Haven and Edgewood avenues.

Film crews and a large amount of equipment were arrayed on the porches of area homes and Park Avenue itself with things like children’s bicycles and other items needed for the shoot available to a crew consisting of dozens of members. The snow-covered yards in the area otherwise looked peaceful, but crew members are in various properties along Park Avenue.

City police and other crews also are standing by and blocking off nearby roadways to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Occasional calls of “action!” and “rolling!” can be heard by several crew members along the street relaying the message.

We’ll update this story today as we see more from the area.
