Alejandro Bernal-Mendoza, 24, Vidal Oseas Mejia Perez, 27, and Eduardo Hernandez-Ruiz, 31, all faces one count of being a “previously removed alien found in the United States” and are being held in the Butler County Jail.

Bernal was arrested March 13, 2018 by Dayton police for soliciting and possession of criminal tools. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
A criminal complaint written by ICE deportation officer Ryan Tincher said on March 15, Bernal was processed by the Cincinnati ICE office and found to have had a order for removal from the United States back to Guatemala in October 2011. The complaint indicates Bernal was removed from the United States on Jan. 31, 2012.
Bernal was detained without bond and a bill of information was filed April 4.

A criminal complaint written by ICE deportation officer Piotr Swierk indicates Meija was interviewed in the Montgomery County Jail and that documents show he is a native of Mexico but has an ID card from Guatemala.
The complaint shows Meija had been removed from the United States in 2009.
Meija was detained without bond and a bill of information was filed April 4.

ICE officials found out Hernandez-Ruiz was booked into the Fairborn City Jail on March 30, according to a complaint written by ICE deportation officer Kenneth Williams.
The complaint states Hernandez-Ruiz, a native of Mexico, was removed from the United States in both 2009 and 2012. Hernandez-Ruiz has a detention hearing scheduled for April 6 and a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 17.
A message seeking comment was not immediately returned by the federal public defender representing all three defendants.
