The trial was pushed back because Lee’s second attorney — Brad Baldwin — filed a motion to step down as counsel due to communication issues with Lee.
Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Gregory Singer granted the motion this morning as prospective jurors waited outside the courtroom.

The case will go back on the judge’s docket for rescheduling with a new defense attorney, according to court officials.
Last fall, Evans Cassell III, 36, was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for his role in Brandenburg’s death. Cassell was found guilty of complicity to commit murder with a firearms charge.

Lee’s then-girlfriend, Kara Parisi-King, is scheduled to go to trial next month.
Brandenburg was shot to death March 12, 2017 after police said two groups of people got into an argument at the Glass Hat Bar & Grill.
