A 44-year-old Franklin Twp. man who fired a gun at his estranged wife, narrowly missing her, was found guilty today in Warren County Common Pleas Court.

Winton Sizemore was convicted of felonious assault with a gun specification; and misdemeanor charges of domestic violence, aggravated menacing and using weapons while intoxicated, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

He will be sentenced Jan. 14 by Judge Donald E. Oda II.

Sizemore got into an argument with his estranged wife Nov. 15, 2017, at their Franklin Twp. home. During the argument, Sizemore threw her to the ground and threatened to shoot her in the face. He did fire a weapon at her, but the bullets narrowly missed her head and went through a wall into an adjoining room, the prosecutor’s office said.
