Police: Woman’s vehicle stolen twice

For the second time in two months, a Middletown woman reported the same vehicle stolen.

The woman told police her 2015 Chrysler 200 was stolen Aug. 8 while it was parked in front of her house on Elk Creek Road. Her purse, Ohio ID and credit cards also were stolen, according to the report.

She told police about two months ago, the same car was stolen. She left the keys in the car, and someone returned the car without the keys, according to the report.

After that theft, she had another key made and told police whoever stole the car the first time probably struck again.
